My first at Oil painting… and canvas painting at large and Never been to art school…
It’s a painting of my good friends Vivek & Libby. Vivek’s into Vampires and Libby fancies pixies and fairies and has a tattoo of a pixie holding a ruby on her back. Its also a first rendition of love between two such mythical creatures. Forbidden and Mystical ‘A creature of the night kissing the glimmer of a Shiny day’. It’s titled ‘VoL’ – which is ‘LoV’ backwards and coincidentally their initials too.
It is their wedding gift.
